If you are new to plastic surgery, you're likely to start with Google search by Googling plastic surgery related keywords. This is an example of the Google search results...

 So, how do you decide based on the above sample search results? 

Bear in mind that the plastic surgery clinic's high ranking on page 1 and visible advertisements on Google (using Google Adwords) may not be truly reflective of the doctor's skills and experience.
The plastic surgery clinic's ranking and visibility depends on their Google Adwords advertising, Google's search engine algorithms and also can be manipulated by some SEO (search engine optimisation) professionals and tools. 

In summary, you need to rely on your own online and offline research as well. Other considerations include:
  • Feedback from other doctors and patients needs to be incorporated. 
  • Its also important to take into consideration ‘where’ the actual visit is, as the management of the hospital or the clinic plays an important role to provide crucial support to the practising plastic surgeon.
