I got this delivered so quickly and thank goodness because my scalp was itching terribly for some reason. After the first use I noticed some relief. I used it before going to bed and left it on my scalp for a few minutes while showering. I towel dried then used it again in the morning. After the second application the itching was gone. I have allergies and pretty much all shampoos these days have a pretty strong scent which send me running for the allergy medicine after I rinse several times. The other brand I used to use changed their formula - ugh too much perfume so I had to stop using it. I have been unable to find unscented shampoo, but this one is a very light scent and my allergies tolerate it ok.

It made my hair smell great! Like I’m so use to using head & shoulder for my hair because my scalp gives the bad odor smell and even with head & shoulders shampoo, it doesn’t get rid of the smell. My 8 yo developed a severe case of dandruff this past year. She wears her hair in two 'space buns' at the top of her head every day and the dandruff was so apparent, and it was causing her distress. I wasn't going to go the way of peppermint oil, ect. with the hopes of "magical essential oils" solving this major dandruff problem. I didn't want to spend co-pays for dermatologist visits and get expensive prescription meds (my husband used these RX products with just so-so results).
This product had the active ingredient, pyrithione zinc, which "has been proven safe and effective for many decades". I researched that claim further, and found several peer reviewed medical journals, and dermatological journals, to have the same conclusions. "Use pyrithione zinc to reduce dandruff". I ordered Happy Cappy and tried it on her hair - knowing it would likely take 3 washes to see a difference. Since her hair is very dry, we wash it once a week as our pediatrician has instructed us to do. In 4 weeks, 4 washes, her dandruff was gone. Not reduced, not dimished, but completely NOT PRESENT! I was floored by the efficacy of this product! It works and there is no smell, no redness, no pain or tingling - just a product that does exactly as it claims, and is gentle on her head/scalp.
